Fujifilm to raise the curtains on the X-S1 at Photofair

Fujifilm will announce the latest addition to its X-series digital cameras, the Fujifilm X-S1 for the Indian market.

Fujifilm will announce the latest addition to its X-series digital cameras, the Fujifilm X-S1 for the Indian market. The company will showcase X-S1, the premium long zoom camera, at the Photofair 2012, in Mumbai. Fujifilm claims that the X-S1 combines the large 12MP 2/3-inch EXR-CMOS sensor of the Fujifilm X10 with a newly developed FUJINON 26x optical precision zoom lens, which helps to produce sharp, high-quality images. The lens comprises of 17 glass elements, which includes four aspherical elements and two ED lenses. This lens also allows one to capture subjects in close-up. By selecting Super Macro Mode, users can focus on, as close as 1cm for frame-filling close-up images. The brand states that the lens' aperture is made up of nine blades for excellent "bokeh" effect photography. Click here for full story
