India has announced a series of diplomatic actions against Pakistan in the aftermath of the deadly terror attack in J&K's Pahalgam.

In one of the fiercest escalations of recent years, India and Pakistan announced a series of diplomatic actions against each other in the aftermath of the deadly Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.

The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsbility for the gruesome attack in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed.

On Wednesday, following the meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) chaired by PM Modi, India announced a series of extraordinary retaliatory measures against Pakistan till it "credibly and irrevocably" abjures its support for cross-border terrorism. In a tit-for-tat move a day later, Pakistan also announced measures against India.
