Ajay Bodke of Prabhudas Lilladher told CNBC-TV18, "Our preference still remains with Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra in the largecap space and NIIT Technologies in the midcap space. There is some sort of caution because the rupee has appreciated; we have seen USD 5.5 billion of inflows in debt from January 1 till now and last week USD 1.6 billion and that is why there is some sort of negativity right now in IT stock but fundamentally global economy is strengthening.”
“IT would continue to remain a core part of portfolio and some of the other names in pharmaceuticals like Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharma and Glenmark. I would continue to look at them in the medium-term perspective along with Motherson Sumi Systems on the auto ancillary space where I see Rs 260-270 as a medium-term price target," he added.
