Inox Wind bags 50 MW repeat order from ReNew Power; shares up 2%

Moneycontrol BureauShares of Inox Wind gained 2.3 percent intraday Monday as it has received a repeat order from ReNew Power Ventures.The company has received a repeat order from ReNew Power Ventures for a 50 MW wind power project to be executed in the state of Gujarat in India. This is a turnkey project and is scheduled to be commissioned by March 2017.The 50 MW order from ReNew Power Ventures is part of the 350 MW or orders announced by the company on October 3, 2016.The company will supply and install 25 units of its advanced 2MW DFIG 113 rotor dia wind turbine generators for ReNew Power.Kailash Tarachandani, CEO of Inox Wind said, "The repeat order has further boosted Inox's strong order book with major IPPs in India."The company is scheduled to be held on October 28, to consider, approve and take on record the standalone and consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended on September 30, 2016.At 09:28 hrs Inox Wind was quoting at Rs 225.65, up Rs 2.90, or 1.30 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
