Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "NBCC (India) after a big rally consolidated and that took the shape of a bullish pattern, so it is not just a day trade. Buy and hold it for a few weeks. It is worthwhile as a positional trade also. I have a buy on Titan Company. It has been on a roll and is moving up, consolidating and moving up again. I wouldn't go for a day trade here because the market could be choppy but buy and hold it for a few days and there is money in it on the long side."
"I have three short selling ideas - Just Dial, it keeps on falling everyday and that is why it keeps on coming in my list. Raymond has now broken down from a support level, suggesting a deeper correction is coming and Tata Communications has already been making lower highs, lower lows. So three short sells, two buys but a general sense of staying away," he said.
"All public sector undertaking (PSU) banks are short selling ideas. So, over the next couple of weeks or maybe two-three months, they will drift much lower. On the other hand the private sector banks are showing strength and the larger ones are showing more strength. So in order of ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank will continue to be buy on dips opportunities and the other midcap banks in the private sector should be avoided," he added.
"I have been upbeat on Bata India. It's a buy on dips stock. As it approaches Rs 600, it also breaks out from a very large consolidation. So as an investor or as a position trader Bata is an outperforming stock for me for the next few months."
"Reliance Industries had a good day yesterday. I can sense a lot of follow-through there. I also have investments in Reliance."
"Petronet LNG is coming out of a mild correction, it is a buy and a much better buy is Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL); it's willing to go much higher. The stock is just breaking out. It's an opportunity to go long."
