Short Crompton Greaves, Voltas; buy Petronet LNG: Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani, s2analytics.com advises traders to short Crompton Greaves, Voltas and buy Petronet LNG.

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “I would not take a short position in Larsen and Turbo (L&T) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and neither in BHEL which I think is in some kind of an up trend and certainly not in L&T which is index heavyweight.”
He further added, “Short positions are justified in the other capital good stocks – Crompton Greaves, Voltas which was a sell today. That is where one should focus. They are very weak stocks and likely to get weaker. But it would be unwise to go and sell L&T. Even a one day rally the Nifty can turn that trade upside down so there are two different issues. One, what is the procedure or what the analysis is and second, is actual trading; actual trading needs a lot more care.”
“Petronet LNG is a stock that has gone through a shallow correction, it has moved sideways. The long-term charts are very bullish, so, I think this is a share that you want to buy. I don’t know whether it will work tomorrow but probably it will work if you buy it today, in the next 10 or 15 days.”
