A US District Court has fined Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) a total of $194.2 million.

Tata Consultancy Services share price fell marginally on 18 June -- down 0.2 percent to Rs 3,824, even as the benchmark NSE Nifty 50 soared to a new record high in the opening trade. The TCS stock was hit by the $194-million penalty imposed on it by a US court. Other frontline IT stocks such as Wipro and Infosys gained 2.8 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively.
