Goldman Sachs has acquired over half a percent equity stake in Tenneco Clean Air India, the automotive components maker, via open market transaction on November 19.
Tenneco Clean Air India shares rallied 23.63 percent to close at Rs 490.80 on its market debut today, with market capitalisation of over Rs 19,800 crore.
Goldman Sachs FDS Goldman Sachs India EQ Portfolio has bought 21.82 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.54 percent of paid-up equity) in the company at Rs 508.21 per share, valued at Rs 110.94 crore.
Meanwhile, the action was also seen in Fairchem Organics, which closed the session at Rs 694.75, down 0.27 percent on the NSE. 360 ONE Special Opportunities Fund - Series 7, which held 3.61 percent stake as of September 2025, sold 88,000 shares (0.67 percent stake) at Rs 696.92 per share for Rs 6.1 crore.
Also, there was an exchange of shares of four companies - TV Today Network, Apollo Hospitals, HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries.
Promoter entity Living Media India has acquired 23.86 lakh shares (4 percent stake) in TV Today Network at Rs 141.2 per share for Rs 33.7 crore, from HDFC Mutual Fund, which had held 7.83 percent stake in the company as of September 2025.
The stock was under pressure despite promoter increasing its stake, falling 1.01 percent to Rs 139.79.
The brisk action was also seen in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise, which gained 1 percent to Rs 7,459 after hitting more than three-month low intraday. Kadensa Master Fund, owned by the Hong Kong-based Kadensa Capital, picked 59,584 shares (0.04 percent stake) in the healthcare company at Rs 7,312 per share for Rs 43.56 crore from BofA Securities Europe SA.
Bluepearl Map I LP, owned by the BluePearl Holdings LLC acquired 1.53 lakh shares (0.001 percent stake) in HDFC Bank at Rs 992.45 per share for Rs 15.25 crore, and 3.98 lakh shares (0.002 percent stake) in Reliance Industries at Rs 1,519.4 per share for Rs 60.47 crore from Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE - ODI.
HDFC Bank shares rose 0.22 percent to Rs 994.60, while Reliance Industries shares declined 0.03 percent to Rs 1,518.9 on the NSE.
