RBI may hit brakes if commodity prices cool off: John Woods

Risk sentiment has been under pressure with all the negative news emanating from Europe. After weeks of taking a beating, global equities are now fighting back. Rumours surfaced over backdoor phone conversations and meetings between European leaders scheduled to take place during the week.


The need of the hour is for European policy leaders to ascertain that they will do whatever it takes to get Europe back from the brink of recession, says John Woods, managing director & Chief Investment Strategist at Citi Private Bank.


In an interview on CNBC-TV18, he says the situation in the US is slightly more benign.
