Weak rupee partly to do with high gold imports: Nilesh Shah

The rupee has hit its all-time low of Rs 52.4 per dollar in morning trade today. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Nilesh Shah of Axis Direct points to high gold imports as the reason for the weakness in rupee.


He says that rupee depreciation has led to alteration of perception of India in the global market.
