Bharti looks attractive; stay away from Idea: ICICI Direct

Karan Mittal, ICICI Direct likes Bharti Airtel. “Even at this price, it looks very attractive. But given the regulatory uncertainties in terms of new telecom policy and the impact on their profitability, we do not recommend Idea because the sensitivity could be high for Idea,” he adds.

The Telecom Ministry has asked service providers to discontinue their 3G roaming agreements and is also contemplating imposing penalty on them.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Karan Mittal, ICICI Direct says, it is little too early to guess the penalty. He likes Bharti Airtel.
