CARE files DRHP for IPO, says proceeds go to shareholders

India's second largest credit rating agency Credit Analysis And Research (CARE) has filed draft red herring prospectus with market regulator SEBI for initial public offering of 71,99,700 equity shares.

India's second largest credit rating agency Credit Analysis And Research (CARE) has filed draft red herring prospectus with market regulator SEBI for initial public offering of 71,99,700 equity shares.

The offer will constitute 25.22% of the post-offer paid-up equity share capital of company. For the financial year 2010-11, the company reported profit after tax of Rs 91.06 crore on total income of Rs 176.63 crore, a growth of 4.6% and 15% over previous year, respectively. CARE will not receive any proceeds from the offer and all proceeds will go to the following (selling) shareholders.
