Gabriel India posted a good set of Q1 earnings.
The company manufactures ride control products like shock absorbers, struts and front forks and supplies to Bajaj Auto, Honda Motors, Royal Enfield, TVS Motor, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M).
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Manoj Kolhatkar, MD of Gabriel India spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
We have had good Q1 on the back of good market conditions, he said.
First two quarters look good. The third quarter typically is a low month and this time Diwali is in October, so the key point will be the fourth quarter and if I look at economic pointers, there is a fair reason to believe that it should be good. So yes, we are optimistic, said Kolhatkar.
He further said that two-wheeler share is 57 percent of the revenues, passenger car is 32 percent and commercial vehicle is 11 percent.
