Royal Enfield-maker Eicher Motors on July 31 reported a 9% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,205 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 1,101 crore in the year-ago period.
Eicher witnessed a 15% increase in revenue at Rs 5,042 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to Rs 4,393 crore in Q1 FY25. The company's June quarter revenue was its best-ever Q1 revenue.
While earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 3% at Rs 1,203 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 1,165 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the operating margin declined by 266 basis points to 23.86% in the June quarter from 26.52% in the year-ago period.
During the quarter, Royal Enfield recorded sales of 2,61,326 units, marking a growth of 15% from 2,27,736 units sold during Q1 FY25.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), the joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, clocked sales of 21,610 units for the three months ended June 2025, logging a growth of 10% over 19,702 units sold in the year-ago period.
On July 31, Eicher Motors shares closed 0.3% lower at Rs 5,463.5 apiece.
"At Eicher Motors, we've had a solid start to the year, with encouraging growth across both Royal Enfield and VECV. We continue to build consistent momentum in volumes, profitability, and the strength of our overall portfolio," said B Govindarajan, MD, Eicher Motors, and CEO, Royal Enfield.
"At Royal Enfield, we have sustained our growth momentum in the first quarter, anchored by our continued focus on product innovation, immersive riding experiences, and a deeper expression of pure motorcycling. The refreshed Hunter 350 continues to be a key marker of growth for us, both in terms of volumes and community engagement. Moving ahead on our global ambition, we further strengthened our reach in the SAARC region and expanded our portfolio in Nepal with the locally assembled Classic 350," he added.
He said that VECV also delivered consistent growth, anchored in a strong product portfolio and a sharp understanding of India's evolving commercial mobility needs.
