Henkel appoints Shilip Kumar as President of India business

Global adhesives and FMCG major Henkel has appointed Shilip Kumar as President of its India business.

His appointment is effective June 1, 2016, Henkel said in a statement.

Kumar succeeds Jeremy Hunter, who has moved to Shanghai as President Henkel China, after leading the India operations for over five years.

Kumar would steer adhesives and beauty care businesses of Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Private Limited (Henkel India) Besides, Kumar would continue in his existing role of Business Director for Transportation and Metal Adhesives SBU in the India, Middle East, Africa (IMEA) region.

Kumar joined Henkel in 2011 as Business Director of the Transportation and Metal SBU in India. He also spearheaded the India Innovation Center Pune project for Henkel.
