In a major set back to e-commerce companies, Enforcement Directorate (ED) has started its probe into the alleged money laundering against six companies—Flipkart, Amazon owned- Jungli, Myntra, Zovi and Voonik— and will be soon investigating the remaining 15 companies. CNBC-TV18 learns that the ED has also issued a show cause notice to Flipkart and Zovi and is seeking information on violations from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).The development comes nearly two months after the Delhi High Court ordered the Enforcement Directorate to probe alleged foreign direct investment (FDI) violations for e-commerce companies in India.
