Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "IRB Infrastructure Developers is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 224 and target of Rs 248. Engineers India (EIL) is a buy with a stop of Rs 158 and target of Rs 170. Repco Home Finance is a buy with a stop of Rs 754 and target of Rs 780."
"If something has already fallen before the results, sometimes, it tends to rally post the results. However, if results are so bad, then even that does not work out. Pharmaceutical trades are fairly useless game; in the markets you have to play the easy game like the NBFCs or the banks or other such stocks which are in clear up trend. These sort of stop-start type of stocks don’t make you a whole lot of money. I would still possibly buy United Spirits over Lupin and Dr Reddy's Laboratories," he said.
"What I have understood about the entire chemical thing is that there is some environmental issue in China because of which all of a sudden these stocks used to hang around 100-150. Now whenever that gets solved, possibly at some point at may, these stocks will get into trouble. So, I don’t think Thirumalai Chemicals is a great structural story which is on. Maybe give a stop of Rs 1,100, chances are you could get even Rs 1,500."
"Dalmia Bharat Sugar is not a great looking chart and maybe looking at another consumption stock could be better here. PVR is at its 200-day moving average. A lot of people are quitting sugar, I don’t think people are quitting watching movies. So, this is a good dip to get into PVR," he added.
