Earlier today, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) leader Revanth Anumula filed his nomination from the Kodangal Assembly constituency. He is also running for the Kamareddy seat in addition to Kodangal.

Mihir Jana, Project Head, Webcasting, said ahead of the Mizoram Assembly elections "...The implementation of webcasting is at 767 polling stations out of the total number of polling stations which is 1276 throughout the state. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said," Wherever Congress govt is there, in Himachal, Karnataka or Rajasthan, the govt employees there are not getting salaries also, that is the situation...BJP believes that people are everything and for Congress, family is everything." The BJP recently replaced its candidates in two seats while releasing its fifth list comprising 15 candidates, which also included some fresh faces. The party dropped sitting Mavli MLA Dharmnarayan Joshi and gave the ticket to KG Paliwal at the seat.

"In these elections, the atmosphere is in our favour. The opposition has nothing to say. They are not able to make any allegations, so they are making false allegations. They do not discuss our achievements. We have made crucial decisions one by one..." said Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot in Jaipur.

A chopper carrying BRS supremo and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao returned to his farmhouse near here minutes after taking off owing to a technical glitch. Rao was on en route to Devarakadra, where he is scheduled to address a poll rally this afternoon. According to sources, the helicopter had to fly back to the CM's farmhouse 10 minutes after take-off as it developed a technical glitch.

"PDA ('pichde', Dalit and 'alpasankhyak') will become the strength of the INDIA alliance... Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar claimed the Congress comes to power by making fake guarantees and turning states into the “ATM of one family”. Addressing a press conference in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, he alleged the Congress has nothing to do with public welfare but wants to get power through fake guarantees and by misleading people, as evident in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.. “Everyone knows about the Congress and corruption as witnessed during the UPA government. Within four months of the Congress government in Karnataka, Rs 109 crore were found in the house of a contractor. Guarantees were not fulfilled but they started fulfilling their one motive - to make Karnataka an ATM,” Chandrasekhar said.

On Telangana assembly elections, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, "BJP is winning in Telangana with a huge majority...Here, the BJP is competing with BRS. BRS is destroying Sanatana Dharma...People here will not give a single seat to those partners of the INDIA alliance who talk about ending Sanatana Dharma. The actual fight here is between BJP and BRS."

A 36-year-old police personnel died in a road accident while on election duty in Mizoram's Lawngtlai district. The incident occurred when Z Lalmuanzuala, along with other personnel, was heading to his polling station in remote Jarulsury village within Tuichawng assembly constituency. The vehicle they were travelling in skidded backward from an uphill road, leading to the death of Lalmuanzuala on the spot.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) releases fifth list of two candidates. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and AAP's organisation general secretary Sandeep Pathak topped the party's list of 20 star campaigners for state.

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat says, "Now Prime Minister and Lotus is the face... Later, MLAs and the Parliamentary Board will decide who will be the face... Whoever the face will be, we will ensure that their tenure is successful..."

The process of dispatching Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) to different polling locations in Aizawl has commenced in preparation for tomorrow's elections for 40 assembly seats in Mizoram.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath commenced his election campaign in five poll-bound states, beginning with Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh, where he used the Chattisgarhi slogan 'ab na sahibo, badal ke rahibo.' During his address, he strongly criticized the Bhupesh Baghel government, particularly concerning religious conversion and also highlighted the politically sensitive Mahadev betting app scam.

On November 5, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also unveiled its fifth roster of 15 candidates, introducing new faces such as Gopal Sharma, a journalist running in Civil Lines, businessman Ravi Nayyar contesting from Adarsh Nagar, and Upen Yadav, who previously led demonstrations on issues concerning unemployed youths during the Congress rule, standing in Shahpura. Additionally, the party made the decision to replace sitting MLA Dharmnarayan Joshi with KG Paliwal in the Mawli (Udaipur) constituency. With this latest list, the party has now disclosed its candidates for 197 out of 200 seats in the state, with candidates for the Barmer, Pachpadra, and Badi seats yet to be announced.

The final list of 21 candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023 was released by the Congress late on Sunday. One notable candidate is Shanti Dhariwal, the Rajasthan Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, who will be contesting from the Kota North assembly constituency. Dhariwal also serves as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing in the Autonomous Government within the Rajasthan Cabinet. Currently, he holds the position of Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Kota North constituency.

On the other hand, the party decided not to nominate the incumbent and six-term MLA of the Gudha Malani assembly constituency, Hemaram Choudhary, and instead put forward Sona Ram Choudhary as the candidate for this seat. Hemaram Choudhary currently serves as the Minister of Forest, Environment, and Climate Change in the Rajasthan Cabinet.

Additionally, the Congress chose not to grant a ticket to Dharmendra Rathore, a confidant of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and the Chairman of the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation. Rathore had sought a ticket from the Ajmer North constituency, but the party has nominated Mahendra Singh Ralawata for the same position.
