Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, experienced a dip in box office earnings on its first Monday after a strong start. The film, which hit theaters on October 11, has accumulated over Rs 21 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com.

Despite its promising opening, the film's Monday earnings dropped to an estimated Rs 2.25 crore, bringing the total to Rs 21.05 crore. The movie initially garnered Rs 5.5 crore on day one, followed by Rs 6.9 crore on day two and Rs 6.4 crore on day three. It faced competition from Alia Bhatt's Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, which has earned Rs 18.10 crore, including Rs 1.50 crore on its fourth day.

The Rajkummar Rao-starrer saw a modest Hindi occupancy rate of 10.96% on Monday. Comparatively, the film's performance is lower than expectations, especially considering Rajkummar's previous film, Stree 2, which earned a massive Rs 55.9 crore by day four, and Triptii's last project, Bad Newz, which collected Rs 3.5 crore on its fourth day. The commercial outlook for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video had been optimistic following the success of Stree 2, but those high expectations haven’t fully materialised.

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film follows the comedic escapades of Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and Vidya (Triptii Dimri) as they, along with their family, embark on a frantic search for their missing "suhagraat CD" in Rishikesh.
