Warner Bros. and DC just dropped a new full-length trailer for Superman, creating a buzz among the fans. David Corenswet dons the iconic red cape and blue for the first time in James Gunn’s directorial superhero film.
The trailer opens with Superman allowing Lois Lane, the coworker and love interest to his day-to-day alter ego Clark Kent, played by Rachel Brosnahan, to interview him after his actions got him under media scrutiny.
Lois says in the trailer, “Recently, you have come under a lot of fire…” He responds, “My actions? I stopped a war!”

The trailer then shows David in the Superman costume right in the middle of a battlefield. However, Lois claims, “You illegally entered a country.”
Superman seems to be in some big trouble as he was seen being interrogated by the officials and accused of acting as a representative for the United States, even though he intends to stop a full-scale war.
The trailer then shows some chilling actions as Superman saves a child, and the chaos continues with Superman falling hard on the ground. However, a fellow citizen saves him.
The trailer also introduces Nicholas Hoult as the film’s antagonist, playing Lex Luthor. The latest trailer also offers glimpses of Superman’s faithful dog Krypto.

The trailer was shared on the official social media handles of the film with the caption, “Your choices, your actions, that’s what makes you who you are. #Superman - Only In Theaters and @Imax July 11.” The trailer has increased the excitement among the fans.
Superman stars David Corenswet in the titular role. The film also stars Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell. It is set to be released on July 11, 2025.
