Famous for his passion on screen and his aspirational spirit off, actor Vijay Deverakonda recently talked about a significant shift in his perspective on life.

The Arjun Reddy actor opened up about how the past two years, along with his relationship with actress Rashmika Mandanna, have allowed him to rediscover the pleasure of taking it slow and focussing on the important things in life.

“In the past two years, I have learnt to live life also,” Vijay said. “Before that, I was not like this. I didn't spend enough time with my mum and dad, I didn't spend enough time with my girlfriend. So now I make efforts, I make time for the people.”

Vijay made the heartfelt confession during The Girlfriend event where he attended as the chief guest, and one of the evening’s most touching moments came when he spoke about Rashmika with deep admiration and affection.

“I’ve seen Rashmika since Geetha Govindam, and she truly is a Bhooma Devi,” Vijay said, referencing her character from her latest film The Girlfriend. “From that point, she has become the woman she is today, choosing to take on a film like this at the peak of her career. I feel so proud.”
