In Valai Pechu, which is a popular YouTube channel, Mr. Valai Pechu himself has said that Vijay Sethupathi has started filming the movie in Goa. Fans are excited about the news, even though the production house hasn't officially confirmed it yet.
If this is true, it would be Vijay Sethupathi's second time working with Rajinikanth after the hit movie Petta in 2019, where they shared a lot of screen time. People are going crazy on social media at the thought of seeing them together again in a movie of this size.

The second part of the 2023 hit movie Jailer is said to follow Rajinikanth's character Muthuvel Pandian as he faces new enemies and tougher challenges. The movie is likely to have even more action, and Nelson will once again mix dark humor with high-stakes drama.
The team isn't saying much about the plot, but Jailer 2 is tentatively set to come out in theaters on June 12, 2026. It is also expected that Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar, who had important cameo roles in the first part, will be back for the movie. Rajinikanth's Current Schedule
The last movie Rajinikanth was in was Lokesh Kanagaraj's action thriller Coolie. The actor has also said that his next project, which he is calling Thalaivar173 for now, will be made by Raaj Kamal Films International. Sundar C was supposed to direct the movie at first, but he later backed out. Some people are now saying that Parking director Ramkumar Balakrishnan might take over, but the makers haven't said anything yet.
