IT: Welcome to Derry OTT Release Date: When and Where to watch horror franchise's prequel series

The trailer for IT: Welcome to Derry suggests that after Leroy and Charlotte Hanlon's time at the military base, they relocate to the town of Derry.

The official synopsis of the first episode's plot states, "Set in the world of Stephen King’s ‘IT’ universe, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY is based on King’s 'IT' novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films 'IT' and ‘IT Chapter Two.’”

The upcoming prequel series will include Jovan Adepo, Taylour Paige, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso. Bill Skarsgård is also reported to be joining the team. The actor will reprise his role of Pennywise.
