Indian singer and songwriter Neha Kakkar recently made headlines after a video of her crying during her concert in Melbourne, Australia, went viral on the internet. The singer received backlash for allegedly creating drama and arriving three hours late at the venue.
The singer has since slammed the critics and revealed that she had performed for free after the sponsors of the show allegedly ran away with the money.
Neha Kakkar’s husband, Rohanpreet Singh, has now chimed in to support her.
He took to his Instagram and insisted on not jumping to conclusions. He further urged everyone to consider both perspectives before making judgments. He also publicly praised Neha and her team for their resilience and dedication to delivering a performance despite facing numerous challenges.
Rohanpreet shared on his Instagram post in Punjabi, “Bht he Humble ho k gal kehna chauna, Jdo tak Sanu… Hakikat na pata hoye ya Dono sides di Reality na pata hoye. Odo tak kde v sanu kise nu v Judge ni karna chahida. (It's very humble of you to say this but until we know the truth or until we know the reality of both sides, we shouldn't judge anyone).”
He added, “Infact eh gal sanu Sade sareyan di Life vich v Implement karni chahidi hai! (In fact, this should be implemented in our daily lives as well.)” He further noted, “Huge Respect to My Wife and Band, who went on stage even after so much difficulties and chaos.”
