The big day finally arrived for YouTuber-turned-actor Mouli Tanuj Prasanth, as his debut film Little Hearts opened in theatres.
Directed by newcomer Sai Marthad and co-starring Shivani Nagaram, the film promised to be a breezy rom-com — and if early reactions are anything to go by, it seems to have hit the right notes.

At its core, Little Hearts tells the story of Nalli Akhil Kumar (Mouli), a young man who struggles academically, much to the disappointment of his father, Nalli Gopal Rao (Rajiv Kanakala). After a poor rank in the EAMCET exam, Akhil lands in a long-term coaching centre, where he meets Khatyayani (Shivani Nagaram), a fellow struggler from the BiPC stream.
Their relationship slowly turns into something more, but then life gives Akhil an unexpected reality when he was just about to find the courage to express his feelings.
