Nag Ashwin’s mythological sci-fi epic, Kalki 2898 AD, starring industry heavyweights Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, has been smashing box office records since its release. Not only has it emerged as the biggest hit of the year, but it has also become the highest-grossing foreign film in North America. Most notably, Kalki 2898 AD has now surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to become the fourth highest-grossing film in India.

The film's earnings have been monumental. Kalki 2898 AD minted Rs 414.85 crore in its first week alone, followed by Rs 128.5 crore in the second week, Rs 56.1 crore in the third, Rs 24.4 crore in the fourth, and Rs 12.1 crore in the fifth. Despite a noticeable dip in its sixth week, where it earned Rs 65 lakh on Friday, Rs 1.25 crore on Saturday, and Rs 1.80 crore on Sunday, it still managed to maintain a strong box office presence. By Monday, its total collection reached Rs 640.15 crore.
