Govinda's daughter Tina Ahuja made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Second Hand Husband alongside Gippy Grewal and Dharmendra. In a recent interview, she opened up about her unfulfilled acting career and her new life path. She shifted her focus towards music videos. Tina discussed her transition from an aspiring actress to helping manage her father’s career, and leading a more luxurious lifestyle than she had anticipated.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Tina addressed the challenges she faced and the misconceptions surrounding her career. When asked about what went wrong and how she feels about being seen as an example of "the reverse side of nepotism," Tina was forthright. “To be honest, I moved on very quickly. It became very irritating when people said, ‘But you have an institute at home, why are you struggling outside?’ It became so annoying after a point; why should I answer the same question again and again?”

Despite the struggles, Tina found solace and enjoyment in working with her father, Govinda, who himself is experiencing a challenging phase in his career. She explained, “I decided that I might as well start working with my dad and start doing things that I enjoy. If things have to happen, they’ll happen. I don’t need to run the house, by the grace of God. I actually started enjoying working with my father, and I didn’t even realise that I’d left a lot of things behind. I was like, ‘Chuck it, I don’t want to do this. I would like to do things that I want to be a part of’.”

Tina also touched upon the industry’s misconceptions about her. She revealed that while she was open to look tests and screen tests, there was a prevailing belief that, as a star kid, she might not be willing to undergo these processes. “I can’t help it if people want to cook up stories about me in their own head. I was open to look tests, I was open to screen tests. But it’s fine. You can’t be answering the same question to every casting person. So, I moved on.”
