The wait is finally over. After two years away from the big screen, Anushka Shetty has made her grand return with Ghaati, which officially hit theatres on 5 September 2025.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the Telugu action-crime drama also stars Vikram Prabhu, with Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi backing the project under First Frame Entertainments and UV Creations.
Even before its release, Ghaati had stirred considerable buzz online, largely due to Anushka’s long-awaited return to the big screen after two years. As first-day, first-show audiences filed out of theatres, social media platforms lit up with reactions.
