As Indian films make a splash on IMAX screens, the production theatre company can't wait to bring more local titles to show the world.

From Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan to Prabhas' Kalki - Indian movies have delivered blockbuster business at the box office for IMAX. Now the company is looking to a record number of Indian-language titles this year. "We are in active discussions with our studio partners across the country on how to bring a wider variety of Indian-language content to our screens in 2025," said Giovanni Dolci, chief of global sales at IMAX.

Indian-language content on IMAX raked in $15.7 million in box office business from around the world in 2023, up from $11.8 million a year back.
