Dubai-based travel influencer Anunay Sood passed away on November 4, 2025, leaving his fans shocked. His supporters in India and elsewhere were devastated by the 32-year-old's sudden demise.
The digital content creator was in Las Vegas when he passed away. His family announced his death on social media on November 6. After over a month of his demise, authorities have finally revealed Anunay Sood's official cause of death.
According to TMZ, the Clark County Medical Examiner determined that Anunay Sood's death was caused by a combination of fentanyl and ethanol (alcohol) intoxication. The official word for his death is ‘accidental’.

The travel influencer was in the city for the Las Vegas Concours car event on November 4. He was discovered unconscious in his room at the Wun Las Vegas Hotel. When paramedics arrived on the scene, they attempted to resuscitate Anunay by giving him five doses of Narcan and performing CPR, but he tragically passed away.
Anunay was declared dead at 7:23 am. Investigators concluded that his death was not the result of foul play.
The officials were informed by a woman, who accompanied Anunay, that, despite repeated warnings from US politicians, they had unintentionally bought some illegal substance in the morning.
Investigators suggested the material unintentionally contained fentanyl, a situation that US law enforcement has been warning about more and more in recent years.
For the unversed, Anunay Sood was a well-known travel influencer, photographer, storyteller, and entrepreneur. He was known for capturing breathtaking vistas and giving motivational stories from his global travels. He had over 1.4 million Instagram followers.

He co-founded Meta Social and led significant partnerships with luxury and tourism boards while residing in Dubai. Additionally, Anunay was listed among the Top 100 Digital Stars from 2022 to 2024.
At the time of his death, he was dating Shivani Parihar and was originally from Noida.
