Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has officially exited the much-anticipated Bollywood sequel No Entry 2, due to scheduling conflicts, according to a report in Times Of India.
The project, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, is being directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor.
The TOI report further said that movie's shoot will now proceed without him, with the team seeking a replacement.
The original movie 'No Entry' released in 2005 and has Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan in the lead roles along with Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitley.
No Entry was a hit and it was known for its slapstick comedy and memorable dialogues. Its sequel, No Entry 2, has long been in the works and has generated considerable buzz recently.
Initially, the second movie was set to feature Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh, alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, while Aditi Rao Hydari was in discussions for a major role.
The real reason for Diljit's exit is due to scheduling conflicts with the singer's “Aura Tour” which is going to commence soon in Australia and New Zealand. The tour will be running from October 26 to November 13, 2025. It will overlap film commitments.
The TOI report further stated that despite producer Boney Kapoor's efforts to adjust dates, the conflict persisted and it led to Diljit Dosanjh's departure.
Diljit's exit from No Entry 2 seems mutual and amicable, but it has led to a potential delay as the production searches for another known face.
The production team is now looking for a replacement of Diljit Dosanjh.
