Chiranjeevi’s Mega157 update to drop on August 22, Anil Ravipudi teases in vintage style

Megastar Chiranjeevi fans are in for a treat this August as director Anil Ravipudi has confirmed that a big update from Mega157 will arrive on August 22, coinciding with the star’s birthday. True to his quirky style, Ravipudi took to social media and posted a retro clip from an old Chiranjeevi film, where the actor signals with his trademark swagger that he is “coming.” The subtle yet stylish announcement has already ignited excitement among fans.

The film boasts a stellar cast, with Nayanthara playing the female lead and Victory Venkatesh appearing in an extended cameo — a combination that has only heightened audience expectations. The team recently wrapped up a crucial shooting schedule in Kerala, where important scenes featuring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara were filmed.

Reports suggest that Chiranjeevi will be seen in a never-before avatar as Siva Shankar Prasad, a sports drill master at a kids’ school. However, the character reportedly hides a mysterious past that will unfold as the story progresses. In line with his reputation for blending humor and emotion, Anil Ravipudi has promised to showcase the Megastar’s iconic comic timing, which fans have been longing to see more of in recent years.
