The team behind Dhurandhar has been savouring an extraordinary week, with the film not only performing strongly at the box office but also earning deep admiration from audiences and industry veterans alike.
And in the middle of all this love, a heart-melting behind-the-scenes clip has captured the internet’s imagination.
The viral video, shared widely on Instagram, takes fans straight into the joyful chaos of filming the song Shararat. In it, Krystle D’Souza, Ayesha Khan and singer Jasmine Sandlas are seen dancing freely with the crew, laughing, teasing and enjoying the infectious energy of the track.
Then, in the most unexpected and wholesome twist, director Aditya Dhar jumps into the frame—trying out the hook step with genuine enthusiasm, much to the delight of everyone around him.
As this BTS moment continues to spread happiness online, Dhurandhar is also winning powerful endorsements.
The latest to join the chorus of praise is veteran actor Anupam Kher, who released an emotional five-minute video expressing just how deeply the film affected him.
His admiration was immediate—so much so that he recorded the video right after watching the film.
Posting his review on X, he wrote, “BHARAT KI FILM: I watched #Dhurandhar on Monday night and immediately recorded this video… Thank you dearest #AdityaDhar for this जांबाज़, बेख़ौफ़, दिलदार and धुरंधर फ़िल्म! This film is also a #TRIUMPH for Indian cinema! A story about UNKNOWN and FACELESS INDIANS who are constantly risking their lives for us! Jai Ho! Jai Hind!”
In the video, he spoke with raw admiration, “The dialogues are amazing… ghayal hu isliye ghatak hu… Ranveer is fantastic. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, everybody… Akshaye Khanna, my God!”
Anupam even revealed that he walked out of the screening so moved that he immediately called Akshaye Khanna and tried reaching Ranveer Singh.
“I tried calling Ranveer also but his phone was switched off,” he said with a gentle laugh.
Anupam reflected deeply on the film’s impact, “From India’s perspective, Dhurandhar is a very important film… sab cheezon ko bahut khoobsurat tarah se weave kiya hai.”
He also fondly recalled teasing director Aditya Dhar on the phone, saying “Mata chadh gayi hai kya? Itni kamaal ki film banaayi hai!”
Above all, he praised the film for honouring the unseen heroes of India—those who work quietly behind the scenes to keep the nation safe. “It is a film that will make you proud to be Indian.” He mentioned.
