In his article, Birdy stated that in order to go to Anushka's luxury flat for the interview, he had to fly from Delhi to Bombay. As they got closer to her residence, Birdy saw that his driver was more excited.
He wrote at the time that Anushka was "utterly gorgeous and completely unpretentious.” He claimed that she was at ease and handled the discussion with a blend of ease and humour.

Birdy said that his driver had asked him to find out if she was seeing Virat Kohli. He claimed that at some point during the interview, he raised the issue.

He claimed that the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actor's "best acting skills came to the fore." She went on, pretending not to be aware of any such rumours. Birdy quipped in his post that he didn't follow up on the subject "because Arnab Goswami I'm not."
