Bollywood fans are in for a real treat as two of the industry’s most loved stars — Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan — are not only coming together on-screen after 17 years for Priyadarshan’s upcoming film Haiwaan, but also sharing the couch on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s hit talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle.
A promo from the upcoming episode has taken social media by storm, giving fans a taste of their fun banter, effortless chemistry, and a few emotional moments too.
As a nod to their 1990s hit Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Kajol and Twinkle greet their guests as "Khiladi and Anari" at the beginning of the episode.
When Akshay and Saif perform the movie's famous dance move, the audience cheers and is immediately transported back to the heyday. Everyone, including Saif, is in stitches when Akshay jokes, "In my opinion, the show should be named Two Cheetahs," in his signature light-hearted manner.
Adding to the humour, Twinkle and Akshay’s light-hearted back-and-forth over who first claimed that “an astrologer predicted their marriage” has fans grinning from ear to ear.
The laughter continues as the conversation turns to marriage and relationships. Akshay quips, “Every husband should be a good listener,” prompting Saif to deliver his signature witty one-liner — “Or at least look like a good listener.” The exchange captures their easy camaraderie and mutual respect, proving that their chemistry off-screen is just as entertaining as it was on film.
However, the tone of the conversation shifts when Saif opens up about a frightening incident from his life. He recalls, “I had been stabbed in the leg and there was blood everywhere. I remember Taimur looking up to me and asking, ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, no, I don’t think so.” The moment leaves Kajol visibly emotional, and she hugs Saif, calling him a “real hero.”
Fans have been buzzing ever since the promo surfaced, with many expressing their excitement and others wishing to see Akshay reunite with Ajay Devgn on the show next.
Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, which debuted on 25 September, has already featured some of Bollywood’s biggest names, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan. The show drops new episodes every Thursday on Prime Video.
Meanwhile, Akshay and Saif’s upcoming film Haiwaan — said to be a Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit Oppam starring Mohanlal — is currently in production and slated for release in 2026. If the show’s promo is anything to go by, their reunion is proof that some Bollywood partnerships never lose their magic.
