Arvind Kejriwal net worth: A look at ex-Delhi CM's assets, how his income changed in 5 years

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), filed his nomination for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections from the New Delhi constituency on January 15. Kejriwal’s declared family net worth has increased marginally from Rs 3.4 crore to Rs 4.2 crore over five years.

In his affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, Kejriwal declared net assets totaling Rs 1.73 crore. His assets include Rs 2.96 lakh in bank savings and Rs 50,000 in cash. The affidavit also reveals that Kejriwal owns immovable assets worth Rs 1.7 crore, but does not possess any house or car.

For the financial year 2023-24, Kejriwal reported an income of Rs 7.21 lakh. His wife, Sunita Kejriwal, has assets totaling Rs 2.5 crore, with Rs 1 crore in movable assets, including 320 grams of gold valued at Rs 25 lakh and one kilogram of silver worth Rs 92,000. She also holds Rs 1.5 crore in immovable assets. Sunita owns a house in Gurugram and a five-seater car. The couple’s total net worth stands at Rs 4.23 crore.

In comparison, Kejriwal’s asset declarations have seen a gradual increase over the years. In the 2020 election affidavit, his assets were valued at Rs 3.4 crore, up from Rs 2.1 crore in 2015.
