RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has declared the RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025 for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) recruitment examination. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) can now check their results on the official RRB website.
For candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT 1 exam, the next stage is the CBT 2 examination. The RRB has announced that the CBT 2 exam will be conducted on March 19 and 20, 2025. Admit cards for the CBT 2 exam will be released four days prior to the exam date, while the city intimation slip will be available ten days before the examination.

How to check RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025?
Candidates can check their individual results and scorecards by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth from February 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM onwards. The roll numbers of selected candidates have been arranged in ascending order but do not indicate merit ranking.
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for your respective region.
Step 2: On the homepage of the RRB website, look for the "RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025" link.
Step 3: Click on the result link, and you will be redirected to a new page.
Step 4. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (as provided during the application process) in the required fields.
Step 4: After entering the details, click on the "Submit" button.
Step 5. Your RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download the result and save it as a PDF file for future reference.
The Railway Recruitment Board has increased the number of vacancies for the Assistant Loco Pilot posts to 18,799. These vacancies are distributed across 21 RRBs, providing a greater opportunity for aspirants to secure a position in the Indian Railways.
RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern
The CBT 1 exam was conducted in online mode and consisted of 75 questions carrying a total of 75 marks. Candidates were given 60 minutes to complete the test. The question paper was divided into four sections:
- Mathematics
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- General Science
- General Awareness of Current Affairs
The minimum pass percentage for the CBT 1 exam varies across categories:

Candidates who meet the cutoff marks will be eligible for the CBT 2 exam. The shortlisting for CBT 2 will be done RRB-wise, with candidates being selected at a rate of 15 times the number of vacancies based on their performance in CBT 1.
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the CBT 2 exam and other subsequent stages.
