The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the offline admissions for Balvatika-2 and Classes 2 to 12 (excluding Class 11) for the 2025-26 academic session. The registration process started today, April 2, and will continue until April 11, subject to seat availability.
Parents seeking admission for their children in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) must submit application forms offline at their respective schools between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The first provisional admission list will be released on April 17, followed by admissions from April 18 to April 21. The final deadline for admissions (except Class 11) is June 30, though deputy commissioners may extend it to July 31 if seats remain vacant.
The online registration process for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 was completed in March 2025. The lottery results for Class 1 were declared on March 27, while the first provisional lists for Balvatika-1 and Balvatika-3 have already been published on the official portal, balvatika.kvs.gov.in. The second provisional list for these categories will be out today (April 2).

If there are insufficient applications under the RTE, SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) categories, a second offline registration will be announced on April 7, with submissions accepted from April 8 to April 14. The final admission lists for these categories will be displayed between April 23 and April 28.

For Class 11, admissions will begin within 10 days of CBSE Class 10 results. Kendriya Vidyalaya students will get priority, with their admission list released within 20 days of results. Non-KV students can apply later if seats remain vacant.
