JNVST Class 9, 11 Admission 2026 Registration Deadline Extended; direct link to apply here

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 for admissions to Classes 9 and 11. Candidates can now fill and submit their application forms till October 23, 2025, through the official website at cbseitems.nic.in.

Earlier, the last date to apply for the JNVST 2026 was October 21, 2025. As per the updated schedule, the correction window will be open from October 24 to 26, 2025, allowing candidates to make changes in limited fields such as area, gender, category, medium of examination, and disability status.

The JNVST 2026 is conducted every year to facilitate admissions to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), which are residential schools providing quality education to talented students, especially those from rural areas.

How to Apply for JNVST 2026

Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the registration process:

1. Visit the official website of NVS at navodaya.gov.in.


2. Click on the link titled “JNVST 2026 for Class 9 and Class 11.”


3. Register using the required details to generate login credentials.


4. Fill in the online application form carefully with correct information.


5. Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee, if applicable.


6. Review all the details before final submission.


7. Click on “Submit” and download the confirmation page for future reference.
