Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) on April 1 called for applications for its aptitude test (IAT). The last date for send applications is May 13.
The exam will is held for the admissions to five-year BS-MS and four-year BS in engineering sciences and economic sciences programmes at IISER, Bhopal.
IAT, which will be held on June 9 at 9 am at various centres across the country India, will consist of 60 questions — 15 each from biology, chemistry,mMathematics and physics.
Total time for answering the test will be 180 minutes. Questions will be multiple choice.
Not every candidate appearing in IAT 2024 will be awarded a rank. The rank cutoff will be announced at an appropriate time.
The candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from any board recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education in India.
Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD are required to score a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
