The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the official exam timetables for Class 10 and Class 12 students for the 2026 session. The board has confirmed that both sets of examinations will begin on 3 March 2026.
Class 10 and Class 12 Theory Exam Dates
As per the schedule, Class 10 examinations will continue until 28 March, ending with the Social Science paper. The first exam for Class 10 students will be English. For Class 12 students, the exam cycle will run until 1 April 2026. The Class 12 timetable opens with Sanskrit on 3 March and concludes with the Music papers.
Class 12 Practical Exam Dates
HPBOSE has also issued the schedule for Class 12 practical exams. These include practicals for science subjects and project work for Accountancy. Practical examinations for both regular and SOS students will take place from 20 February to 28 February 2026. These will be conducted at the respective schools or affiliated institutions before the theory papers begin.

- Click on the Examination tab on the homepage.
- Select the 2026 Datesheet option.
- Choose the Class 10 or Class 12 timetable.
- View the datesheet and download it for future reference.
