The CBSE Class 12 Chemistry exam 2025 took place on Thursday, February 27, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 7,842 exam centres across India. This exam is a crucial part of the CBSE Class 12 board exams, which began earlier this month and will continue until April 4, 2025. To ensure smooth conduct, CBSE mandated that all students reach their exam centres before 10:00 AM, as the gates closed at this time.

Before writing their answers, students were given 15 minutes to read the question paper. The Chemistry theory exam carried 70 marks, while an additional 30 marks were allotted for internal assessment. The paper was designed to test students' conceptual understanding, numerical problem-solving skills, and application of theories.
