CAT 2024: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has released the answer key for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. Candidates who took the exam on November 24 can now access the answer key and their response sheets to estimate their performance.
The answer key release coincides with the opening of the objection window, which allows candidates to challenge any perceived errors in the answer key. This window will be open from December 3, and will close at 11:55 PM on December 5.

Exam Details and Answer Key Access
The CAT 2024 exam was held in three sessions on November 24, with timings of 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The test comprised 68 questions divided across three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) with 24 questions, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning with 22 questions, and Quantitative Ability with 22 questions.
How to check CAT 2024 Answer Key?
Step 1. Visit the official CAT website: https://iimcat.ac.in/
Step 2. Locate the "CAT 2024 Answer Key" section on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3. Enter your login credentials (user ID and password) to access your account.
Step 4. The answer key will be displayed in PDF format. Download and save it for future reference.
A total of 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT 2024 exam, out of the 3.29 lakh who registered. This translates to an approximate attendance percentage of 89%.
