Yamaha Motor Company today celebrated its 70th Foundation Day by announcing a limited-period price benefit of almost Rs 10,000 on the RayZR 125 range of scooters in India.
The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Street Rally have a price benefit of Rs 7,000 on the ex-showroom price. Prospective customers can avail of the offer till August 31.
"With this benefit, customers can now save up to Rs 10,000 on the final on-road price," India Yamaha Motor said in an official statement.
The offer also includes a 10-year warranty on the RayZR 125 scooter range. This benefit comprises a standard warranty of two years and an extended warranty of eight years covering critical engine and electrical components, including the fuel injection system, for up to 1,00,000 km. It is fully transferable to subsequent owners.
The following are the new prices (ex-showroom) of the RayZR 125 scooter range.
RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Drum - Rs 79,340
RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Disc - Rs 86,430
RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid Street Rally Disc - Rs 92,970
The RayZR 125 scooter range employs a 125 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve petrol engine, which generates 8.2 PS of maximum power and 10.3 Nm of peak twisting force. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission.
The suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing at the rear. The front (12-inch) and rear (10-inch) alloy wheels are shod with tubeless tyres. Depending on the variant, the braking duties are performed by a 190 mm disc or a 130 mm drum at the front, while the rear has a drum brake.
The Yamaha RayZR 125 rivals the TVS Ntorq, Honda Dio 125 and Hero Xoom 125, among others.
