Tata Motors has revealed the colour palette for the upcoming Sierra 2025 ahead of its launch tomorrow. The SUV will be offered in six exterior shades -- Bengal Rouge, Coorg Clouds, Munnar Mist, Pristine White, Pure Grey and Andaman Adventure. With colour choices now officially confirmed, Tata has added another key detail to the model's final specifications before prices are announced.
The new Sierra 2025 will join Tata's expanding SUV portfolio, positioned alongside the Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier and Safari. It enters the mid-size SUV category, a segment dominated by the Hyundai Creta and featuring competitors like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Mahindra Thar Roxx, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor and the Tata Curvv.
The colour options revealed by Tata cover neutral, bright and adventure-oriented tones. Bengal Rouge is among the most vibrant choices in the range. Coorg Clouds and Munnar Mist offer lighter, nature-inspired finishes, while Pristine White and Pure Grey cater to buyers preferring traditional shades. Andaman Adventure sits at the more rugged end of the spectrum. All six colours will be paired with a contrasting black roof band, part of the model's floating-roof appearance.
The 2025 Sierra's updated design retains the nameplate's trademark three-quarter glass area but uses a modern interpretation that incorporates flush glass panels and a panoramic roof. LED lighting signatures define the SUV from the front and rear. A full-width Light Saber LED DRL leads the front fascia, while a slim LED bar spans the tailgate. The SUV also features black body cladding, flush-fitted door handles, a clamshell-type tailgate and muscular rear haunches. Alloy wheels measure 19 inches, continuing Tata's design consistency across its larger SUVs.
Inside, the Sierra 2025 adopts the Theatre Pro layout with three screens, including Tata's Horizon View displays for the driver and passenger. The infotainment setup works with the Sonic Shaft soundbar and a 12-speaker JBL system with Dolby Atmos. With the Panora Max sunroof and extensive glass surfaces, Tata aims to recreate the airy cabin effect associated with the original Sierra while meeting modern safety requirements.
Equipment highlights include LED headlamps and taillamps, a piano black grille, an electric tailgate, soft-touch dashboard materials and firmer plastics on the door pads. The front seats get ventilation and electric adjustment, with the driver's seat also receiving memory functions. Other features include floating armrests, an auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging and adjustable thigh support in the front seats. Rear passengers get generous headroom, improved by the flat floor design that benefits the centre occupant.
Tata is expected to offer three engines -- a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre Hyperion direct-injection turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Manual and automatic options are anticipated, along with multiple drive and terrain modes. Boot space is expected to be close to 500 litres, subject to final confirmation. The SUV will go on sale with internal combustion engines first, with an electric version scheduled for an official launch early next year.
