The new Hyundai Venue launch in India will take place on November 4.

The Indian SUV market is gearing up for three key launches in November 2025 -- the second-generation Hyundai Venue, the all-new Tata Sierra, and a new electric SUV from Mahindra & Mahindra. Industry analysts expect these models to drive fresh customer interest and close the year on a positive note for the passenger vehicle (PV) sector.

2025 Hyundai Venue

Hyundai will kick off the launch spree with the second-generation Venue on November 4. The model features a full redesign, with changes to its exterior proportions and cabin layout. The 2025 Venue will be available with three engine options -- a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (83PS/113.8Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120PS/172Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm). For the first time, the diesel version gets an automatic gearbox option.

Hyundai has also introduced drive and traction control modes, a dual curved panoramic display integrating infotainment (12.3-inch) and instrumentation (12.3-inch), and a Bose 8-speaker audio system. Bookings have opened for the new Venue for a token amount of Rs 25,000, with prices expected to start around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Sierra

Tata Motors will follow with the launch of the new Sierra on November 25. The Sierra will be positioned between the Curvv and the Harrier in the company's SUV portfolio and will be offered in multiple powertrain options. Initially, the internal combustion engine (ICE) version will be launched, while the electric version will arrive at a later date.

The new model retains the Sierra's classic silhouette but features a modern SUV stance. The cabin is expected to get a three-screen layout (infotainment, driver display, and co-passenger screen), dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.

New Mahindra electric SUV

The third launch will come from Mahindra & Mahindra, which is preparing to introduce a new electric SUV in November. While the company has not officially confirmed the model name, it is expected to be based on the electric-only INGLO platform, which will also underpins the BE 6 and the XEV 9e. More details will emerge closer to the launch time.

In the segment context, the new Hyundai Venue will intensify competition in the compact SUV market, currently dominated by the Maruti Suzuki Brezza and the Tata Nexon. The Tata Sierra will revive a legacy nameplate in the lifestyle SUV space, while Mahindra's new EV will further expand the brand's electric line-up.
