Eicher commercial vehicles sales up 11.8% in April

VE Commercial Vehicles on Friday reported 11.8 percent increase in the sales of Eicher branded trucks and buses in April at 3,838 units as against 3,434 in the same month last year.

VE Commercial Vehicles on Friday reported 11.8 percent increase in the sales of Eicher branded trucks and buses in April at 3,838 units as against 3,434 in the same month last year.

In the domestic market, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 3,501 units in the month as compared to 2,791 units in April 2014, up 25.6 per cent, the company said in a statement.

Exports of Eicher trucks and buses were down 47.9 percent at 335 units as compared to 643 units in April last year.

Volvo trucks recorded sales of 92 units in April as compared to 69 units in the same month last year, a growth of 33.3 per cent, it added.
