Better to pass on costs than cut output: IOC on price hike

IndianOil Corporation (IOC) last evening announced a rise in the prices of petrol by Rs 1.80 per litre. The company, its chairman RS Butola, said, had no option but to hike prices because of the depreciating rupee.
