AI's turbulence continues, 33,000 employees set to protest

10 associations and unions of Air India (AI) and erstwhile Indian Airlines (IA) have written to the civil aviation minister asking him for an appointment within a week to sort out their issues.

10 associations and unions of Air India (AI) and erstwhile Indian Airlines (IA) have written to the civil aviation minister Vayalar Ravi, asking him for an appointment within a week to sort out their issues.


The unions have also said that the employees will be forced to go on a nationwide protest, including strike if issues pertaining to non-payment of salary and turnaround plan for Air India are not resolved.
