ServiceNow and NVIDIA have announced an expanded partnership to scale enterprise AI innovation with the launch of Apriel 2.0, a next-generation model from ServiceNow’s Apriel Nemotron family. Co-developed using NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, Apriel 2.0 delivers advanced reasoning, multimodal understanding, and efficiency in a smaller, faster, and more cost-effective footprint. The collaboration, unveiled at NVIDIA GTC 2025 in Washington D.C., aims to redefine trusted AI deployment across industries, from enterprise automation to government systems.

Apriel 2.0: Advanced reasoning with a smaller footprint
Apriel 2.0 combines ServiceNow’s AI workflow expertise with NVIDIA’s Nemotron technology to create an open model that matches the reasoning capabilities of larger systems while maintaining high efficiency. The model introduces multimodal input support — interpreting text, screenshots, forms, and diagrams — to bring richer context to enterprise workflows. It is designed to support autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents, enabling enterprises to run complex reasoning and multi-step operations at lower latency.
According to Gartner, smaller, domain-specific AI models are set to outpace general-purpose systems by 2027. Apriel 2.0 aligns with that trend, emphasizing performance, transparency, and responsible AI, with guardrails suited for regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, and telecommunications.

Reimagining enterprise and government data centers
Beyond model development, ServiceNow and NVIDIA are extending their collaboration to intelligent data center management. The two companies plan to integrate ServiceNow’s workflow automation platform with the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design, bringing intelligent operations, monitoring, and automation to data center environments.
The integration will enable faster deployment of real-time AI solutions and create domain-specific agents for sectors such as retail and government. For example, retailers can use AI agents to resolve service issues like point-of-sale failures, while public agencies can manage citizen service requests more efficiently and securely.

Availability
The Apriel 2.0 model is expected to enter production in Q1 2026, alongside new integrations between ServiceNow’s Data Center and Network Asset Management and NVIDIA’s AI Factory systems. The collaboration marks the next phase in ServiceNow and NVIDIA’s shared goal: bringing scalable, transparent, and trusted AI to every enterprise.
